Weekly round-up from your local Neighbourhood Team

Weekly round-up from your local Neighbourhood Team

Hello everyone,

This is a brief message from St Michael’s Team 1 to let you know some of the things your Neighbourhood officers have been doing in your area this week.

St Michaels Officers have been conducting patrols within the Coventry City Centre to target retail crime, and Anti social behaviour, to ensure the safety of those working and visiting the area.

Due to concerns raised by local residents, we have been tackling anti social behaviour in the area of Priory Place and Priory Gardens. We have conducted patrols in company with other departments within West Midlands Police and our partners, including Community Wardens. Thanks to their efforts, a prolific offender within Coventry City Centre was charged with multiple offences, such as Breaches of their Criminal Behaviour Order, which serves to protect the public, retail and hospitality premises within the City Centre.

We have set up a Community engagement for local residents, anyone who works in the area, or anyone who would simply like share their concerns and views on the Priory Gardens. Local neighbourhood officers will be present at COVENTRY TRANSPORT MUSEUM, HALES STREET, CV1 1JD on the 13/10/2026 at 11:00 hours.

Please see dates and for Coffee with a Copper with PCSO PASSANTINO at Coventry Central Library;

 11/10/26 – between 10:00 and 11:00 hours

15/10/26 – between 15:30 and 16:30 hours

Please see dates and times for Crime Prevention with PCSO PASSANTINO at West Orchards, Coventry City Centre:

12/10/26 between 15:30 and 16:30 hours.

 Coffee with a Copper with PCSO PASSANTINO at Coventry Transport Museum:

16/10/26 between 15:30 and 16:30 hours.

Please note that due to the nature of our role as officers, sometimes situations occur that are beyond our control, therefore, if we are not at an advertised event, it is because we were called to an emergency that sometimes does not give us time to contact WM Now and such like, to cancel an event.
